Frank Gay

CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER

Frank Gay is a co-owner and serves as the CEO over the Home Pros Family of Companies. He leads the day-to-day efforts for Home Pros Real Estate Group, where he focuses on agent development, increased agent productivity, and merger & acquisition expansion. Frank also leads the efforts (along with the ancillary leadership teams) to increase internal agent capture and external market share for the affiliated mortgage & title companies.

Prior to taking the helm at the Home Pros Family of Companies, Frank served as the CEO of The Simply Group, where he helped identify and secure a network of premier real estate brokerage partners across North America to vertically integrate mortgage, as well as title & escrow. Gay began his career over twenty-five years ago as a top producing agent and quickly built a large, multi-office real estate brokerage, with offices in the US and abroad.

Over the last decade, Gay has held senior executive leadership roles with some of the largest real estate organizations, both in North America and globally. He is often requested to speak at industry events, as well as participate in strategic masterminds surrounding the brokerage business.

Penny Moore

Broker of Record

Penny Moore is an icon in the El Paso real estate community. After becoming a licensed Realtor in 2001, she founded Home Pros Real Estate Group in 2007 with the forward-thinking vision of building a real estate brokerage that put the agents’ best interests first. As the Broker and co-owner of the company, Moore oversees all brokerage activity, ensuring compliance, training, and education are in place for the agents. 

In 2022, Moore was instrumental in a joint venture, now called the Home Pros Family of Companies, which includes Home Pros Real Estate Group, Streamline Home Loans, and Clear Title. Prior to her career in Real Estate, Moore held many management positions in the retail arena for 15 plus years, becoming known as a problem solver with a big vision and a “get it done” mindset. 

Moore and her husband Ted, moved to El Paso from upstate New York in 1996, when Ted was relocated with his manufacturing company to Juarez, Mexico. As a result of her experience in the retail industry, Moore was able to bring her expertise to the real estate industry and build a successful business. 

Moore’s success as a leader in El Paso’s real estate Market is a testament to her decades of experience, hard work, dedication, and commitment to excellence. Known affectionately as “Mama Bear” by her agents, she is an inspiration to all who aspire to succeed in the real estate industry.

Ted Moore

Chief Financial Officer

Theodore (Ted) H. Moore Jr. was born and raised in upstate New York. After 29 years in medical manufacturing, Ted relocated to El Paso in 1996. Ted specialized in research and development, often traveling abroad as a consultant. In 2011, Ted retired from manufacturing and became a licensed Texas Realtor, joining his wife, Penny Moore, in the real estate business at Home Pros Real Estate Group.

As Chief Financial Officer for Home Pros, Ted launched the company's property management division in 2011. Through his hard work and dedication, Ted was able to grow the division to just under 100 units by 2017. Ted is proud of the fact that he was able to work alongside his wife to grow Home Pros Real Estate Group, as well as the families of companies Streamline Home Loans and Clear Title El Paso.

Ted is a true example of hard work paying off, and is an inspiration to many, and his story is a testament to the power of perseverance and dedication.

Lauren Gay

Chief Happiness Officer

Lauren Gay is a partner in the Home Pros Family of Companies. A retired Disney Teacheriffic and National Board Certified K-12 teacher, real estate became a second career for this now-seasoned, award-winning agent and popular social media personality. Lauren holds a B.A. in English from St. Anselm College, an M.Ed in Educational Leadership from Stetson University. She is also a certified life coach. In 2021, she began taking graduate-level English classes through Harvard University online, she says, because she was raised to believe in the value of education. She says, "I believe that, as long as our hearts are beating, there is always more for us to learn!”

As Chief Happiness Officer for HPRE, Lauren coordinates company events. She was instrumental in creating community partnerships with Home Pros Real Estate Group’s three community partners: Humane Society of El Paso, CASA of El Paso, and El Paso Coalition for The Homeless. She is the company liaison for these nonprofit organizations. Lauren creates opportunities for our agents and our company as a whole to give back to the community of El Paso through volunteering, donations, promotions, and drives to support each of these organizations’ respective missions. 

Prior to becoming a partner at The Home Pros Family of Companies, Lauren was a weekly home and lifestyle columnist and news reporter for The Daily Journal’s family of companies, based in Tupelo, MS. She was recognized by the Mississippi Press Association as an award-winning editorial writer in 2022. She and her husband, Frank Gay, have five grown children: three boys and two girls, and a spoiled Goldendoodle named Muppet. 

When not scheduling company events, coordinating philanthropy drives with our community partners, and implementing social media marketing campaigns, you’ll most likely find Lauren walking around Memorial Park, decorating her home, or at a local thrift store. According to Lauren, “The natural beauty, culture, and people of El Paso make it unique, and there’s no place else I’d rather call home.”
